The banner is vaporized

Yeah. So it's not useful for the site or anything, but the banner at the top is missing.

The line "Artwork by SeverusCoil" still is up there, so I'd guess that the image missing isn't intentional.

Anyway, yeah. It's like, gone. O_o

Must have been a glitch with IE 6. I've updated it to 7, and the banner is back.

Even refreshing it or flushing the cache wasn't working.

Oh well, fixed now. Stupid IE and it's random glitchyness...

(I'd use firefox, but it crashes on my graphics card for some reason, causing a hard reset of the computer. I have no idea why, it's just always done that. -_- )

You can make a great new computer for $800 these days, which is a month's pay at a shitty job. You shouldn't have too much trouble there. I worked up a $1600 build 3 months ago; buying a similar system from an OEM like Dell would have cost $3200, and from Apple would have been well over $4000 (and not possible to upgrade, not run any of my games, and a duller graphics card to boot). On top of that, I get to overclock it all I want (3.0GHz processor now at 3. and hand-pick the best hardware.

www.techreport.com is a great site to help; they even post system builds for various budgets every few months. http://techreport.com/articles.x/15941 is the latest one, just put up yesterday. Don't be afraid to build your own; it's very easy and actually I found it a lot of fun. Keep yourself informed

There's no excuse for using IE6, though. Even though IE7 is a decent browser, Firefox (or even Chrome or Opera) is better.

I ordered it last week. I built it on paper. Now the manufacturer needs to build the frame.

I never thought on. I'll test how is rendered this forum with other browsers, like Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox 0.9 (old), Opera, Elinks and other, under Windows and Linux (Mint and Ubuntu). Just for curiosity. When I do that, I'll upload the screenshots
