Opening Donations For Purchasing Gallery Space! (And More!)

Okay, I've thought about this for a while and, honestly, I'm tired of not having gallery space, and I'm sure some of you agree.

To recap, we did have a gallery running for a couple months last year, but it was not on this host; instead, it was hosted by my now-ex-friend Blue Charizard. After a bit of a fallout between him and the site, he closed the gallery without warning. Since then, we've had no gallery.

The forum itself DOES have a gallery function, and it works extremely well...comment functions, favorites, small/full screen, all the features that a normal gallery has! However, at this time, we only have a measly 10 MB. This is our 'freebie', and to get more, we need to buy it.

Now, I'm not exactly rich, so I was hoping that I could open donations for purchasing gallery space. To do this, I need to buy Credits from our host. Here's how the math works...

500 MB of storage space = 500 Credits
500 Credits = 6.60 USD

As you can see, it's not too pricey, but before I open the Gallery, I wish to be able to buy a significant amount of space. I'm asking Dragoneer, admin of the furry image site FurAffinity, for his advice on how much I should buy, starting out.

But, let's start by trying to reach 5 GB. This means that I need to raise 66.00 USD! After I have this much, I shall purchase the space and open our gallery once again!

Moving on...there is another feature I will purchase with enough donations, if we get more than enough for the gallery. For 1600 Credits (21.12 USD), I can buy us our very own domain name for 1 year! What this means is, instead of being known as http://hungrypokemon.omgforum.net , we can be known as http://hungrypokemon.net ! Much shorter, and more professional. ;3
