more rooms in chat

I was wondering if its possible to add some more rooms to the chat cause if thair alot in 1 room it can get abit confusing and some might want some where more private

would actually be a good idea yeah, you see those allot with other chatrooms. and to only have one room...

or how about making it posable for private coversations?

That's just the thing...this forum provider gives us that chatroom, but it's laughably simple...all I can do is set it to the top or bottom of the page, and turn it on/off. Sorry guys.

If somebody could find a good (free) chatroom that I could imbed with HTML into the site, though, I might consider that.

how about using IRC? i don't really know if it is free, but it sertainly works

I know that Eka's uses Voodoo chat. I'm not sure if it's possible to embed in a forum though. I'll play around with it on my test board some, and see if it's doable.

edit: Scratch that. There are actually two chat systems I found called Voodoo. And I didn't have any luck with either. One requires a specific client, no embedding, and the other needs to be uploaded to the server.
